Where
and when does the Alpine Kiwanis Club meet?
- The
Hoffman House, 7550 East State Street
- 7:10
A.M. - every Thursday (exception:
Wed. week of Thanksgiving)
throughout
the year
What
we do at club meetings?
- 6:50-7:30 - the buffet
meal, announcements and presentations plus group singing
- 7:30-8:10 - the program
(a speaker or a panel, musical group, a forum or other
informative program)
All
meetings are opened with singing followed by the invocation
by a club member.

Membership
|
What
is expected of members?
- Regular attendance at
weekly club meetings (60% attendance is the goal).
- Commitment of time to our
major fund-raising project, BRAT DAYS and special
events, i.e.: Special Olympics, Work Service Project, etc.
- Acceptance of full
responsibility inherent in any committee appointment you
receive and in any office to which you might be elected.

Dues
|
What
is the cost?
- A one-time payment of a
membership fee of $60.00 (waived for former Kiwanians)
- Quarterly dues of $90.75
are sent by the Alpine Kiwanis membership secretary.
No additional billings from either the Illinois-Eastern Iowa
District office or Kiwanis International are applicable.
- Your quarterly billing
includes your meals.
OPTIONAL:
You may select membership without meals included in dues
payment. In this
case, the amount due would be $54.75.
